Kayaking in The Bay Area

I really enjoy kayaking but I don’t go very often.My wife and I like to go out to Wheedon Island when we get a chance because it’s a quick trip from South Tampa and it’s a chance to see some the area’s flora and fauna. If you’ve never been out on the water in a canoe or kayak you’re really missing some of the best of Florida. I recently found a blog that does a great job presenting the best places around Tampa Bay to kayak. The author is Robert Payne and he’s from Reno Nevada.

Saturday Mornings With Lucy

I found this Tampa blog recently. It’s called Saturday Mornings With Lucy and is written by Lucy Beebe Tobias. She writes about her travels and experiences in Florida and although she usually posts two or three times a month, her writings are more in depth (and better) than the average blog.
