Sensory Overload Festival

Here’s a prease release from Creative Loafing. It’s about the Sensory Overload Festival this weekend at the Cuban Club. I haven’t heard of it but it sounds interesting.

“On Saturday, March 29, Creative Loafing Media and the International Academy of Design and Technology will present the 3rd Annual Sensory Overload festival - a night of art, music, food, fashion, film, dance, live screen printing and more!

This year, the art and music portion of the festival is being curated by Jay Giroux and Becca Nelson (of “Dirty But Sophisticated” fame). Participating visual artists include Theo Wujcik, Eleanor Grosch and others. Music will be provided by NY’s Apes and Androids, Miami’s Locos por Juana, as well as a slew of local bands and DJs.

The Cuban Club is located at Palm Avenue and N. 14th St. (2010 Avenida República de Cuba) in Tampa. Ages 18 and up; $10 general admission; $35 includes access to the International Rum Festival; 9 p.m. - 1 a.m.

15 Artists . 12 Bands . 3 Stages . $10″
