Fireworks at Channelside
(July 4)
Here’s the schedule for the Channelside fireworks:
- 2pm: Family Fun
- 3pm-6:30pm: he Sensations
- 6pm-9p: Radio broadcast from 93.3FLZ
- 7pm-8pm: Radio Reset
- 8pm-9pm: Starfish & Coffee featuring Ross Childress (Collective Soul)
- 9pm: Fireworks
Florida Aquarium
(July 4)
Get in for $10 after 3 p.m. and watch the fireworks over the channel. They will extend the hours to 9:30 p.m. If they have the bar out back open, this will be a great place to watch the show.
GaYbor Days
(All weekend)
Events will take place all weekend in Ybor City. G.Bar, Streetcar Charlie’s, Honey Pot and Lounge 714 will be the venues.
A drag queen and celebrity look-alike promenade down Seventh Avenue will start at 6 p.m. Saturday.
Kimberly Locke, from the 2003 season of American Idol, will perform Friday at the Honey Pot. Frenchie Davis, also from American Idol, will sing at G.Bar on Saturday. There will be a dance party Sunday night at Club Skye to end the event.
