Beer & BBQ At SideBern’s
Maybe they don’t know an ale from a lager but at least someone in south Tampa is getting (somewhat) adventuresome with beer. SideBern’s is hosting a Beer & BBQ series over the next four months and the first one, Thursday June 5, will feature Brooklyn Brewery. The beers will be paired with grilled, house-made sausages, charred farm vegetables, roasted sweet peppers and a Macadamia nut banana split.
Sidebern’s site doesn’t mention which beers will be featured, but you can’t go wrong with Brooklyn Brewery. Started in 1989, the company was one of the early craft brewers in the U. S. Someone should tell them that the terms ale and lager are not interchangeable.
The next event in the series is Summer Seasonals With Pepin Distributing on July 3. August 7 is Red Hook and the series finishes with one of my favorites - Full Sail.
