SoHo Sushi Moves From Howard Location

SoHo Sushi closed on Saturday and is moving to a new location on Kennedy Boulevard. The St. Pete Times reports that the move was spurred by growth and space issues. No mention was made of building owner Tommy Ortiz who was involved in SoHo Sushi neighbor Sangria’s move earlier this year.

The Times reports:

“The new space at 3218 W Kennedy Blvd. is about 3,000 square feet and will feature 20 tables, twice as many as before. Though leasing details were not final as of last week, it is expected to open in mid to late May.”

We were regulars to SoHo Sushi for two reasons. We like the sushi chefs and we could walk to dinner. It definitely won’t have the same draw for us if we have to drive.
