Koba‘s isn’t in Hyde Park but it’s been one of the most popular sushi restaurants for many years.

I’m not sure about the reason, but I noticed last week that it was closed up. Hopefully Koba is OK. If anyone has more information on this, I’d appreciate it if you could pass it along.

Update: I’ve been told that Koba has taken over a sushi restaurant in Pinellas. A few years ago he sold his Tampa condo and now lives in St. Pete, so now he will be closer to home.
