Ceviche’s Moving to St. Bart’s Location
As of Wednesday afternoon the “For Sale” sign at St. Bart’s Island House Restaurant was down and workers were busy cleaning up and clearing out things, including the big fish tank that was held two nurse sharks.
Ceviche’s, The Tapas restaurant down the street on Howard will be moving into the building in a couple of weeks.No word yet on who bought it or what the future plans are for the building but I’ll post it here as soon as I find out. Hopefully it will still be a restaurant.
St. Bart’s was previously Le Bordeaux which was one of the most popular South Tampa restaurants for years. Davis sold the rights to the restaurant to Phillip Glassman of Ocala in 2005. Glassman kept the restaurant and added a private club called Privee, but the venture failed and Davis decided to sell the property recently.
